Welcome to Counterspiral Care.
We’re so glad you’re here.
Many people struggle with feeling disconnected to themselves and failing to achieve their goals and dreams. They seek balance and joy in their lives but are unsure of how to take clear steps towards the life they want. They may feel stuck in the pain of the past, unable to work as a team with the people around them, their loved ones, and their own bodies, or they may simply be uncertain about how to begin their self-improvement journey.
My name is Sarah, and I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and the founder and clinical director at Counterspiral Care.
When you’re caught in an emotional spiral, it can feel like you’re completely out of control, unable to find yourself or move forward. Feeling lost, stuck, and alone is a challenging place to be. This is why finding a safe space to work through these issues and listen to your whole self is so critical. In partnership with your therapist, it is possible to find your counterspiral: a toolbox of strong communication, emotion regulation skills, and healing work that can support you through building the life and sense of self that you’ve always dreamed of. A therapeutic journey requires vulnerability, curiosity, and a willingness to do the work, but the impacts can be life-changing.
If you’re looking for a more short-term and goal-directed approach, we offer life coaching sessions as a unique pathway outside of psychotherapy to support your personal mission and well-being. During a life coaching session, you can dive deep into your values, life goals, and career path to help clarify the things you really want and set you on the right foot to get there.
We also offer organizational workshops, team-building exercises, keynote speeches, and more to support equity, accessibility, and inclusion at work. Our workshops and presentations are research-backed and highly engaging to bring together your whole team.
At Counterspiral Care, we prioritize fostering and sustaining well-being through an anti-oppressive lens, working with the whole person to support self-improvement and healing. We believe in culturally competent care, celebrating diversity, and cultivating balance and joy. We seek to understand our clients’ worldviews and lived experiences to understand how their unique intersectionality impacts their health, wellness, and identity. We seek to empower our clients with the tools they need to help themselves, while providing a judgment-free and safe space to collaboratively address lifelong hurt, pain, suffering, and joy. All feelings are welcome here, and all people are welcome here.
